SuperBeam – NFC File Transfer is a file transfer system that uses NFC technology which allows the exchange of large documents between two compatible devices, like the Galaxy S3 and the Nexus, for example.
To initiate a transfer, you must activate the NFC connection of both devices, install the SuperBeam – NFC File Transfer and connect them to the same WiFi network. Later, you have to select the contents you want to download and click “share via SuperBeam”.
Our review of the SuperBeam – NFC File Transfer:
Many modern devices, such as the Samsung Galaxy S3, for example, use specific programs that facilitate the exchange of files via the NFC technology – like the S Beam. However, you need a generic application if you need to share files with another device that do not use the default from Samsung. In this case, the SuperBeam – NFC File Transfer is a good option.
The use of the application is very simple and intuitive for people who are already used to the new technology, simply select the desired files and put the equipment to establish the connection.
Simple and powerful:
Hotspot support is a great way to avoid using a WiFi router as an intermediary, because one of the devices can manage the wireless connection that will be used as a bridge for the transfer.
The only drawback of the application is loaded advertisements in the middle of the configuration interface. However, the banners are not enough to negatively impact the usability of the tool.
- Simple operating
- Support local hotspots
- Requires Bluestacks emulator in order to run SuperBeam on a PC
